It's important you understand each state, each county in the country are different in how they deal with public criminal records access. Sex Offenders, D.O.C. inmates, and even court records can all be erased either due to the completion of their sentence or release from custody or court order.... again it all depends on the state.

We specialize in historic and archived data, trying to keep up with all the new records being written each second, all across the United States is no easy task. We don't claim to have all records ever written, in fact we are far from it! If your wanting more up to date information or need a certified criminal record, contact your local state police department, they'll point you in the correct direction for your state. Your local state police would also be able to assist with a certified national check -- which must be investigated, there is no known nationwide instant searh system, at least not public version.

We've recently been upgrading our members area and search applications, all of our data is free however some of our partners do offer premium services. We've also brought back a membership option which removes ads and allows you to search in all databases at once. Both free and paid versions provide the same data, there are no limitations in either.
